ILR for Main applicant + 3 dependents
Our case :
Entry Clearance date (HSMP) : 28-Sep-2007
Entered UK : 02-Oct-2007
Switched to Tier1 ( Extended visa ) : 15-Sep-2009
Have been in permanent employment since coming into UK.
Our appointment was at : 9.15 AM
Security check done at door: 9.05 AM
Passport check : 9.30 AM
We had to go a counter where they checked our passports.It took us a while there because they were sorting out an issue for another applicant.
Payment done at :10:10 AM
We did our payment with banker's draft at first floor and had to wait.
Went to an intermediate case worker who checked the payment and our passports at first floor : 11.00 AM
Biometric done at second floor: 11:15 PM
They announced apologies that the process are delayed today due to some problem in the systems.
Called by the caseworker : 12:30 PM
Case worked approved ILR : 02:45 PM
The case worker was very polite. He asked us to give all the documents along with the duplicates and said that it would take about an hour, so we can come back after lunch.
So we gave him the document list to check whether everything was sufficient. He said everything was fine.
We came back from lunch and got the original documents along with the ILR approval letter. He had taken all the duplicates along with the letter from the employers and landlord( originals, though we had provided photocopy as well).
The documents we submitted are :
The document list :
1- Appointment confirmation letter
2. Banker's Draft for payment
3- Set O form
4- Photographs
Main Applicant + 3 dependents
5.Passports
Main Applicant + 3 dependents
6. Life in the UK -
Main applicant + wife
7. Tier 1 migrant approval letter
Main applicant + 3 dependents
8.HSMP approval letter
9. Pay slips for 12 months
10. P60 - 2012
11.P45
12.Letter from Employer
13. Bank statement for 12 months
Cohabitaion Documents
14.Bank statement for 24 months
15.council tax bills
16. Letter from landlord
Duplicates of all the documents listed above.

Hi Afour,
Congratulations on getting the ILR. I have a quick question on employer letter, Can you please suggest if employer letter was provided to prove that you have been working for 5 year or it was just to prove that you have earned X amount of money or you provided this just in case they needed it ?

It stated that
X is employed in company Y for the period .....
It is an ongoing permanent role. His salary is Z.

Firstly, congrats Afour!
Ozair, Afour, you guys sure it's in name of "Home Office Leave To Remain" for ILR? and not just "Home Office"? According to SETO guidance, for bankers draft it should be "Home Office".
Of-course Afour would argue that it worked for him, but can someone please confirm?

p2kin : As long as home office name on dreaft is ok but I would go for what HO said on guidence.
You must make the postal order payable to Home Office’and cross the postal order A/C Payee only.

Though it worked for me, now i think it is better to take it in the name of "Home Office".
I checked the set(o), Actually I had not noticed the part said within brackets.
"Banker’s draft (payable to the Home Office)"

Afour, how many absences did you have? Were you missing any entry / exit stamps in your passport? If so, what backup did you have for the dates that you listed on your application with missing stamps?
