Tier 1 General Extension + Dependants

Post by arsenalsri » Sat Sep 29, 2012 4:24 pm

My Tier 1 visa is due to expire in Feb 2013. I am planning to apply for an extension next week for myself and then for my wife and kid in December. The idea was to save some cost as applying seperately was costing less than applying together with dependants.(1500+750+750)=3000 vs (1500+561+561) =2622.

My question though was, would my wife's visas expire once my extension is granted or is it ok to apply separately?

Appreciate all the advice.

A leave remains valid until the leave is curtailed (323) or expires, or when the person is subject to removal.
