TIer 1 (General) extension with dependants

Post by asmr.psgtech » Sat Sep 29, 2012 7:48 pm

Hi,

I have never posted but just remained as silent spectatior as I had got answers for all my queries. I am having an issue in the maintenance funds now.

I have 2 dependents (wife +1 kid). I am going to apply for the Extension on Nov 14th(only for me) personal Application. And applying for my wife and kid in sometime Jan through post. My VISA expires on Jan 1st week.

1. I have maintained 1800 pounds(more than £900 for me alone) from Aug 1st to Nov 1st which is 3 months
2. I have 300 pounds in my wife's account from August 30th till Jan. so when she is applying we will have more than 2100(900+600+600) for 90 consequtive days.

Will that be fine. Or do i need to maintain 2100(900+600+600) for my application eventhough i am not applying for the dependents. Please let me know as i will be in prob if this is the case. Let me know if you need more details

No Problems as you are not applying together.....as long as your dependants are not in your application form maintenance wont be required for them...it will only be for you...which is 900 for 90 days...

Salaried

Post by asmr.psgtech » Wed Oct 10, 2012 4:59 pm

I have booked the appointment on Cardiff PEO. I have 9 months as employed in a IT company and after that I went to contracting. I have got salary and dividend for the rest of three months from my company. But, as there is enough salary which i have taken from my company for the points needed, i am just considering salary to be my part of income and I don't want to consider the dividend as I have enough Salary drawn. Should i apply as self employed even if i don't consider dividend in my income. In that case I cant go to Cardiff PEO as they don't accept Self employed. Please advise.

You are both self-employed and employed, for the purpose of your application.
Introduction wrote:Under Part 6A of these Rules, "Self-Employed" means an applicant is registered as self-employed with HM Revenue & Customs, or is employed by a company of which the applicant is a controlling shareholder.

I am confused now. Can I go to Cardiff PEO as they don't handle the Employment cases. Re iterating again, I am just showing the salary of what I have received from the company.

Will my application be considered simple .

Pls advise.
