Documents for SET M

Post by THYMON » Sun Sep 30, 2012 9:13 pm

Hello,

I hope someone can help me.
I will apply for ILR as my 2 years spouse visa will expire soon.
I have a problem to collect all documents they ask.

My husband and I have bank statements for more than 2 years, not joint account.
We have tenancy agreement with both of our names for more than 2 years.
Are our P60 forms accepted? ( they are for more than 2 years)

Other letters such as bills are difficult to get because they are paperless, or included in our rent.
I should've checked what documents we would need when I received spouse visa then I could've done something...

I also have a letter from Home Office when I received Spouse visa(dated).
But on the SET(M) form it says the dates of the letters / documents should spread over the whole 2 years.
I received this letter only once of course, so can this letter not be accepted?
Or, if I collect letters which dates are anytime in past 2 years, will it be OK?

It will be very appreciated if someone would help me.

Regards,

Anything with your name, address (including postcode) will be accepted.
These don't have to be in joint names, but if in single names, submit more than the required 6.
TV licence? Doctor's registration? Medical letters? Mail order account?
You may have more than you think.

Hello CASA,

Thank you so much for your reply!

I have checked what I got, but stupidly I threw away all the letters I received after I delivered the baby. So no letter from GP or Hospital.

I received TV licence by e-mail ( I will ask if they can send me by post again).

I have bills from 2009, 2008 showing current address (that time my visa category was the dependant of the person who got visa for turkish self-employment.). Do you think it will be accepted?

Is my P60 accepted?

Thank you again for your reply, I hope you can kindly reply above questions too.

Hi Casa,

I'm sorry I have another question.

I have read the Section 11, note 8,

{If you do not have enough
items in your joint names, you may also provide items addressed to each of you individually if they show the same address
for both of you. }

Does it mean that if we provide the letters, do they have to be from same office for both of us?

I mean , if I provide the letter from TV licence, does my husband have to provide the letter from TV licence as well?

I called TV licence office, they said they couldn't reissue the licence but they will send me a letter confirming I have purchesed the licence. DO you think it will work?

I'm sorry to ask you question again. But your reply will ease my heart.

Thank you very much.

Hi Casa,

Oh Thank you so much for quick reply! I can't say thank you enough to express my feeling!

Please let me ask you the last question.
Should the bill cover for whole 2 years? Or, is it enough if I have 1 or 2 in last 2 years? According to BT,
they can send me some bills with fee so I will order them ,
but I don't think they will be able to reissue all the bills for last 2 years,,,

Also I noticed that they print my name wrongly. They put extra letter before my family name

ex, if my name is Thymon Smith., it says Mrs.T. S Smith.
Do you think they will accept? And it's my maiden name. Will it be problem?

I'm sorry to ask you so many questions, but please help me. Thank you so so so much!
