Urgent HELP: Please answer. Travelling tomorrow

I become a US Citizen last month and have received the certificate.
I still have not applied for US passport.
I have surrendered my green card and now I need to go out of the country this weekend for an emergency.

Would I be allowed to reenter US with my foreign passport and a US Immigration Certificate?

Please help, I need an urgent response.

A US citizen cannot be refused entry into the US - even when travelling without a US passport.
