UKBA/Home Office When do they close for christams?

Hi,

Any idea about when the home office close for christmas and new year? Is it the standard public holiday times only or do they close earlier?

I have applied for my sons registration as British citizen and just want to plan for a few things in advance.

Why would this information be of use? What are you doing each day during the waiting period of your application that requires knowledge of the UKBA being open for business? Or have you been told the application will take an exact number of working days and don't wish to lose count?
