Dependent visa for my wife whilst I am on tier 1

Post by HaidarHK » Sun Oct 14, 2012 7:39 pm

Hi All,

I am Pakistani and my wife is Indian. I am on renewed tier 1 visa which expires on the 14th of March 2013 after which I am eligible to apply for ILR (PR). My wife will be applying for dependent visa from India in November 2012 (this year).

1 - Does my tier 1 visa need to be valid for 6 months for her to be able to / receive a dependent visa?
2 - What will be the length that she will receive the visa for?
3 - Do I need a letter of salary and job from my employer?
4 - Is 4000 GBP for 6 months in my bank statement sufficient?
5 - Does the British embassy check my credit card accounts?

Thanks for your help.
