LOST ANOTHER JOB at mcdonalds(full time)...manager states he can't accept the COA as poof of employment(really lack of knowledge)...this is the third job lost...in depression reallyy :cry:

You don't have much leeway with the UKBA unless you are over 6 months since application. But, sorry if this has been covered before, but isn't there a phone number on your COA that employers can ring to confirm your eligibility to work? (There is on mine). Are you directing potential employers to call that number? Perhaps they just can't be bothered doing that if there is 'lower-hanging fruit'.

asamant18, you can request priority processing of your application in situations like this.

hey,thank you for this....i am really happy to share this to you..i went in the morning taking a print of this page(link above)..and gave a try to go back to the store and explained the manager..and guess what ,he finally was satisfied,
and i got the job :D ....so so so happy really...thanks to you man...it truly said never give up just try and be patient and al will be fine...now just hoping my RC arrives faster(fingers crossed).
