I am due for my tier-1 extension in may 2013. I have been on holidays in India (took career break from office) for more than 2 months now.. I would fall short of earnings if i only claim points from my employment in UK. I do run a business in India as well. I offer IT consultancy services and sell computer books to schools.
I would be flying back to UK in the first week of November 2012. however, that won't affect my business here in India as i do most of my dealings online. I am paid into my local bank account here in India. I understand as its an extension i won't be able to apply uplift to any of my foreign earnings.
My question is: -
Does my not being present in India make any difference to the documents required for my foreign earnings and does that mean i can only claim for earnings made in India whilst i was physically in India or can i claim points for my foreign earnings which would be made after i fly back to UK.
Also if someone would be kind enough to guide me as to what documents i would require to claim points for my foreign earnings..
