Applying for FLR (M) for my wife

Post by Pirnawaz » Mon Oct 22, 2012 12:52 am

Hi there,

I am sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it if it has.

My question is:
1) I have been awarded ILR but I still haven't yet received the biometric card. Can I apply for my wife on the basis of the of the approval letter that I have received from the home office when I was awarded the ILR from the PEO?
2) If I send it by post, do we know what is the average time that it takes to application to process?
3) Her biometric was done initially when she was first granted entry clearance and visa in 2011 in Pakistan. Would it by anyways decrease the processing times?

Thanks in advance
Nawaz

1. Yes.
2. This post should help you make an educated guess.
3. No, because she will be asked to enroll biometric information again (and every time she makes an immigration application).

On what basis did you apply for settlement?
What is your spouse's current immigration status?

I applied settlement on a tier1 general basis
My spouse is on a tier 1 dependant visa which runs out on 15 November
