Trouble applying for EEA1

Hello everyone
I am trying to apply for eea1 for my EU husband. I am having trouble booking an appointment through UKBA website. I have been trying for three weeks in a row and there are always no appointment available for me. Is it suppose to be like that or I'm doing something wrong ? Thank you all in advance

Their website in many occasion undergo maintenance. However, for eea1 application normally few months prior appointments are normally available which means applying by post is a better approach as because eea1 normally be processed promptly in contrary to eea2 (6 months).

So are you saying that if I apply by post ,it would take less than 6 month to get eea1? hm.. i thought otherwise.

Eea1 is optional. If you planning to ease the process of eea2 by getting 1st eea1 then why not you send both of the applications together. Eea1 takes considerably lower time than eea2. Just refer to eea2 application timelines section.

Thank you for your help. I just thought in order to get residence card ,my Eu husband should get eea1 first
