Dependants of PBS migrants (now settled or BC) who applied for "PBS dependant" entry clearance before 09-Jul-12 are not subject to the new immigration rules and therefore are not required to fill 7A.

Spouse / partner of a PBS migrant is also a "partner" and had applied for leave (entry clearance and extension) as "partner" of PBS migrant. Section 7 of FLR(M) starts with the statement:
If you were granted leave to enter or remain as a partner following an application made before the 9th July 2012 you are not required to complete section 7A, Proceed to 7B MAINTENANCE
It doesn't state "granted leave to enter of remain as partner of a settled person / British citizen".

That said, skrskr, on what basis did you apply for settlement? Is your spouse a doctor / dentist?

That is indeed the current specified form for FLR(M) application as on date.

The "sentence in the form" is the one that is shown in "quotes" in my response above.

is this sentence in page 17 of flrm form..in page 17 after 6.34 question i can section 7A-financial requirment..

S E C T I O N 7 A - F I N A N C I A L R E Q U I R E M E N T
If you were granted leave to enter or remain as a partner following an application made before the 9th July 2012 you are not
required to complete section 7A, Proceed to 7B MAINTENANCE. For more information on completing the financial requirement
section please see section 21 of the guidance notes

All other applicants must meet the financial requirement for leave to remain in this category. The guidance notes are
available on the UKBA website and must be read when completing this section. You and your sponsor should provide
the relevant evidence, as specified, to demonstrate that together, as a couple, you have the financial resources you
claim under this section.

this is what i can in the form....sorry to trouble you as i need to send form tomorrow thats why i am worried now..thanks for ur patience and reply

Re: urgent help please with questions on FLRM form

Post by tsm14 » Sat Nov 29, 2014 1:04 pm

our situation is
My husband is a UK citizen and i am under a work permit. we married in July 2013 back home. we are planning to book an appointment for the FLR(M) Application. i have a couple of queries regarding this..

SECTION 6 YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO YOU SPONSOR
we have been living together for 5 months now.
question 6.8 asks how long have we lived together and after asks to add all addresses u and ur sponsor have lived at in the 2 years preceding this application if u have lived at ur current address with ur sponsor for less than 2 years.
Should we add the address where we lived separately before our marriage in uk ?

SECTION 8 ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
I have done my IELTS (ACADEMIC) in 2011 and now it has expired. is it still accepted as evidence that i have met the English language requirement or should i repeat the English language test??? what would u suggest me to do?
thank you and we are looking forward to ur replies
