Sorry to digress a bit, but how did you know when the UKBA received your application, do the NCS people provide you with some tracking facility?

Hi!
Yes, they sent me an email with a tracking reference number. It was posted by special delivery and arrived next day after the appointment. I was very pleased with the service, the lady was very friendly and provided with lots of information.
If you think of applying yourself or through NCS, I would definately recommend NCS, as I had a lot of questions and they dedicated me two hours. They also had a contact person from HO who they easily could held of unlike us trying helplessly to reach them.

Return of Special Delivery Envelope: 14th Dec (Caseworker returned the SD envelope stating that as Passport is not submitted, it is not needed. The envelope was put in to send the approval letter. Earlier in my nationality application, approval came in SD envelope which I had put in for that purpose)
