Can tier1 dependent visa be extended from outside UK?

Can tier1 dependent visa be extended from outside UK?

Hi,

Can tier1 dependent visa be extended from outside UK?

The dependent was in UK.
The dependent is in India at the moment. The validity of visa will expire soon.
The dependent may not be able to travel back to UK before the expiry of the visa.

Hence can the dependent's visa be extended from India?

Or should the dependent apply for entry clearance again?

Please advice.
