A letter from the EEA national ...

Post by Remman » Sat Nov 03, 2012 5:30 pm

From the documents required when applying for a Famliy permit a letter from the EEA national, declaring that you are travelling with them or are joining them in the UK,
Is there any special info or details need to be incuded in the letter ? or just 2 lines are enough?

Thank you

I would keep it very simple.
My name is FULL NAME. I am a citizen of YYYYYY, an EU member state.

I will be exercising my free movement right to travel with my spouse FULL NAME to the UK.

Please issue my spouse's EEA Family Permit on the basis of the required accelerated process. Please contact us if you require any additional information.

Thank you

Just remember, if you are British and work in Gibraltar, you lose those free movement rights.
