MN1 Approved But Certificate Not Received

Post by urdankhtola » Mon Nov 05, 2012 9:11 pm

I made 3xMN1 applications in September 2012 at same time. I've received the letter of approval and the supporting documents followed by 2 Certificates.
But 1 certificate is still not here after 5 days. Other 2 certificates were issued on 30.10.12 and arrived on 31.10.12 and 01.11.12.
I've emailed UKBA today but does anyone know, should it needed, how long does it take to get a duplicate certificate?

Thank You

Applied for 3 children on MN1. Got the approval letter and doucments back and then 2 of the certificates also deliverd by post in last week of October 2012.

3rd certificate never arrived. I called the phone number given on the approval letter but whatever option you chosse you get an automated answer with same contact email address. I wrote them an email and then received an automated reply with SO MUCH useless information but at the end there is a another email address for further enquries. I wrote them and never received any reply.

I called the number again and chose 'Applications over 6 months' option (although it did't apply to me, my application was dealt with within 6 weeks). In few minutes I was able to speak to a human. The gentleman gave me another email address : Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.
I wrote them an email and they did reply in 3 working days. They told me to wait for 15 days, as the post is only considered lost if not delivered in 15 days and then write back again for them to consider a replacement certificate.

I have not received the certificate in 15 days so I wrote them again and now I am waiting for their reply or a replacement certificate.

Anyone in similar situation please use the email address given above to contact them as they don't have any one over the phone to help you.
