Spouse visa application

Post by indi007 » Thu Nov 15, 2012 9:08 pm

Hello
My wife has moved from her parents house in Wales to a rented room London 6 months ago but all her correspondence still goes to her parents house. She has got a tenancy agreement for 6 months and she will get a letter from landlord. Does she need to have any more correspondence sent to new address as proof of address for my visa application?

Having two seperate addresses is no good because your sponsor needs to show Bank Statements and many other documents which clearly show the address.

One solution I could thinkof is the following:

- Put down her home address as her parents
- Do not use her new rental address in any parts of the documentation
- Get a new tenancy agreement created if possible having a start date a near the date of submission of application
- Get letters from the tenancy agency/landlord for no obejction of you joinging your wife at the new rented address
- Write a cover letter saying that a new rented acomodation has been secured for you and her to live when you arrive in the UK
- The tenancy agreement should have at least 6 months remaining at the time of application
- Create a housing report on the new rented house to show the house will not be overcrowded when both of you will be living there

Hope this helps.
