ILR Appointment Tomorrow - Please help...

Post by desired.value » Sun Nov 18, 2012 12:58 pm

Hello

I have got appointment for ILR tomorrow and just need help with the below, appreciate if you could answer quickly:
1) Dont have P60 for one year as employer cannot generate it due to very few days in that year. I have been with the same employer for last 5 years and got transferred from India unit (temp) to UK unit (permanently) on 1st April 2010. Just as the year ending is 5th Apr 2010. Their system doesn't generate P60 for that year. So instead I have a letter from Employer stating my P60 figures for the year 2009-10 and also P45 for 2009-10 up to 31st March 2010. Will this be fine and accepted?
2) Do I need employer letter stating salary or other details like continous employment etc? I have been on WP for 1.5 year since June 2007 and then had my Tier 1 visa done in Sept 2008 and have my last 12 months payslip and corroborating bank statement to prove salary payments made. I don't see a need anywhere in the Tier 1 (General) Settlement guidance / immigration rule about such document but have seen others in this forum carrying it. So just confused?
3) Is it compulsory to carry photo copies of documents? If so what documents should be photo copied as there are so many?

Below is the list of documents I am carrying (Main applicant + 2 Dependant):
1) All Passports
2) All BRP
3) 12 months Payslips from employer
4) corroborating bank statements for 12 months
5) Cohabitation documents (last 2 years Council Tax bill with both names)
6) Marriage cert / Birth cert for dependants
7) P60 for 4 years + P60 letter with figures for 2009/10 + P45 for 2009/10
8) Official Work Permit Document
9) Tier 1 Approved (Initial) / Extension letter from UKBA
10) Life in UK Pass certificate (Both)
11) Filled in Form SET(O)
12) Photographs
13) Degree Certficate (not needed but just in case they ask)
14) Self assessment from Points Calculator

Anything missed?

Appreciate your quick reply to make informed decision about whether to go tomorrow or wait ?

Thanks

Photocopies -
form Set O - for your own record/copy. Do not need to submit photocopy
All other documents - I photocopied all relevant pages of all documents. Eg, for bank statements that run multiple pages, I copied the first page, and if salary appeared on a separate page, copied that page only.

I have been advised in this forum that if there is a 'signatory'' on any of your documents, then you would need to copy all pages (letters, etc).

Passports - copies of your photo page, signature page (if different), and all UK Visa pages.

Salary slips, detail page only

Bills/etc - just the front page showing your name address and date.

Maybe wait for others for input on your P60 question.

Good Luck

Hello wpilr_nov12

Did they ask you for any photo copies of documents when you went in person at the PEO?

yes. Was asked along the lines of 'do you have copies of these as mentioned in the guidance.?'
