Questions about MN1 - passports and payments

Post by insideoutsider » Mon Nov 19, 2012 9:54 am

Dear all,
I have searched the boards but still found no answer to this particular question:

* My child was born in the UK (now 5years old) and WE have now all got ILR. The child has ILR too. When applying for registration under Section 1(3), do I have to send my own passport too? The child has her own passport and BRP card with ILR on it.

Also, when applying for multiple children, using the payment slip, whose name do we put in 'Applicant Name' and 'HO ref'? The cost of 2 children applying together is different to 2 children applying seperately so I'm a little confused. Do we fill in two different payment slips? If so, how do we represent the payment? (I believe it should be one payment of £827 for both children)

I would be very grateful for your input :)

Did you check the Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting - Children?

The child ILR status is irrelevant. It's the parent status that count (in fact, you could have skipped the child's ILR application).

One payment slip, one figure, two names in the applicant name + DOB.
You can leave the HO ref empty if you don't know it.
