£ 50,000 query

Dear All,

I have £50,000 eqv funds in my father's account in Pakistan. I have read some posts here that I cannot use the £50,000 from Pakistan. Is this right?

I have my own account in Pakistan I can ask my father to transfer the £50,000 equivalent funds to my Pakistani Account. Being an accountant it not worth for transfereing the whole amount to the UK (from tax pt of view) in my case only.

My question is, can I use my Pakistani account containing equivalent £50,000?

I really appreciate your views on this.
