Part qualified accountant - PSW to Tier 2

Hi,

I am currently working as an Assistant Auditor for a Audit recovery firm(Niche Market). I am currently on PSW visa and my visa expires in July 2014. I am ACCA fully qualified (not with experience though).

I was been hired by my employer in January 2014 and offered a position as Assistant Auditor with a salary of £24k. Now I am a permanent employee there and my employer has a sponsoring licence.

However my job description doesn't fall under code 2421 and I only do auditing work from the few bullets points that had mentioned in the code 2421 under the Code of practice(nothing else).

My employer says they are willing to sponsor me but they cant under the UKBA rules, since I am an assistant auditor.

Can any one please shed some light on the above.
