Tier 1 General (Tier2 ICT in past) - will I qualify for ILR?

Post by grifle » Wed Dec 05, 2012 5:49 pm

Hi folks,
Here is my work permit history:
1. Arrived in UK in Feb 2009 under 'old' work permit
2. Extended my stay in UK under Tier-2 ICT in Feb 2011
3. Switched to Tier-1 General in March 2011 (after just one month in Tier-2 ICT)
4. Due to extend Tier-1 General visa in March 2013

I will complete 5 years in the UK in early 2014 and would like to go for ILR.

My question is:
As I was on Tier-2 ICT for just one 1 month in the middle (after the changes on 6th April 2010), will it impair my chances for getting ILR in 2014?

The UKBA website seems to indicate that.

Thanks for a reply.
