I'm not aware that I have any criminal convictions in the U.K. or my home country. A few days before my ILR PEO appointment last week, I remembered a minor traffic collision (no injuries) that I was involved in six or seven years ago in my home country. I don't remember attending court, being summoned to attend court, or being convicted.
For my HSMP, Tier 1 (General), and ILR application forms, I stated that I didn't have any criminal convictions. If I apply for British citizenship, is it safe for me to also state that I don't have any criminal convictions, since I was successfully granted HSMP, Tier 1, and ILR statuses?
I know that I can request criminal record reports from both the U.K. and my home country to be absolutely positive, but if forum members can reassure me that the UKBA doesn't have any criminal convictions on file for me, then that would save me from having to spend money on accessing my criminal record reports.
