Tier 2 Extension

Dear Members

I'm currently on Tier 2 visa, which will be expire on 17 Jul 2013,
My question is;

When is the best time for my sponsor(employer) to apply for an unrestricted COS for my visa extension in Jul 13.?
Also, what is the procedure to apply for unrestricted COS?

Hi,

COS is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and you are allowed to apply for an extension up to 3 months before your current visa expires.

So, COS can be issued from 17 Apr 2013 for one expiring in 17 Jul 2013.
