Citizenship qualifying period

Post by Hkahn » Wed Dec 12, 2012 2:22 pm

Hi, I am bit confused, I got ILR and in uk for more than 5 years, my wife also got ILR with me on same date and in UK for 3 1/2 years. Now questions are

1. After 12 months of ILR I can apply for Naturalisation, can my wife apply at the same time with me?

2. Does qualifying period also count the time we spend after we got ILR i.e. after the date we got our ILR, does it also count towards a qualifying period.

Many thanks, appreciate ur advice
