Congrats Orbis, should not be very long now, my BRP delivery attempt was the very next day after I got my approval letter.

Good luck.

Hi all,

First..congratulations to InUKOnHsmp. I've also received my BRP card too this afternoon at 3pm, including dependants cards. All details are fine. But the card it self valid until 13/12/2022..but the type of permit is settlement and remarks: indefinite leave to remain. Bit strange why the card has its expiry date.

Good luck Babajee and Orbis. Hope you will get your cards soon.

Congrats on getting your ILR and documents back! Regarding your comment above, it is normal for the BRP card to have an expiry date (it's similar to the expiry date you have on a driving licence); the card is valid for 10 years. It just means that you will need to register your biometrics in 10 years time, but your ILR will remain as it is. Unless ofcourse you apply for naturalisation in which case you will not need to take this step.

Thanks mdi24, congratulations to you too.

Thanks cs95tdg, I too had exactly the same question as mdi24 but I figured it must be for getting updated photos etc.

I am planning to go straight to the AN route, so this isnt that relevant for me like you mentioned.
