Marrying non EU national in Italy

Hi

If anyone can advise on the following situation.

UK national with British Passport wanting to marry a non EU national with a indian passport on a work permit/residence in Italy - which gets renewed on a annal basis in Italy.

What are the options for marriage, can the marriage take place in the UK or in Italy or in India. Where would the applicaion be made for entry to the UK. What visa options can be applied for?

Looking for some advice on the options pls.
