I also believe if it came to that, it will not be in UK's interest to undertake a mass expulsion of EU nationals and their family members. It will not be economically viable or feasible, there will be serious repercussion for the over a million UK nationals who live in the EU. UK will have to quit the ECHR to do this. They will not be part of the EEA, which be an economically suicidal thing.
There will have to be an orderly transition. I dont think that transition will affect free movement. If the UK want to have free movement and free trade, then there will have to be free movement of people.
