With reference to the talk of possible changes in April for Tier 1 Entrepreneur Entry Clearance, what to you say the date when the changes will come into effect keeping the past UKBA record for such implementation. I know it is difficult to predict such date but a rough estimate would be appreciated. Would it be around the 6th of April or 30th of April in your opinion.

Thanks,
You are welcome. In my opinion it will be the 1st April as it is the first Monday of the month as well. In past the changes came into effect on 1st April as well. They closed PSW on 1st April 2012.

Hi,
congrats for ur visa.
And best wishes for future.

my question is that how did u find about these regional offices verifications?
Thank you. I have good relations with the bank. When regional offices are approached by the embassy for documents verification, regional offices then send the DVR to the relevant branch just to make an additional check and then they respond back to the embassy. The manager at the branch told me the above.

thanx a lot for reply

Do they verify the £200,000 investment funds for a random date too? Or only on the date mentioned on the Bank Letter?

I cannot keep such a huge amount in the bank for such a long duration.
I use to work in a bank (not anymore) and I am telling you this from experience that when BHC use to call up for statement verification they would normally ask about the random dates out of the statement supplied to them when the case was submitted. however they would often ask that what is the current balance which was on the date of their inquiry.

if you have such funds in your name surly you can take the banks manager in confidence and let him tell you when the inquiry arrives to them, either telephonic or paper based.
Thank-You for the reply Kim.

I am not providing a bank statement, just a letter from the bank stating on this particular date I had £200K, please keep in mind these are the investment funds

I am applying for T1E from outside UK, I am married and have one child and my wife is expecting and by the time I make my application most prob. I will have two children. Now my question is I understand the Maintenance fund for the main applicant is £3,100- but what is the maintenance fund for each dependent including spouse is it £1,800 per dependent? I am assuming it is £1,800 per dependent but why I am asking is because at some places a different numeration is written at the UKBA site maybe they are not updated frequently.

Staff at UK Visa Application Centre (Gerry's) told me that British High Commission (BHC) normally takes three working weeks to provide an outcome of the application for this category of entry clearance. I submitted the application a week ago and yesterday BHC contacted my bank to verify the bank statements I provided with my application.

If there are people on this forum who are also in the process of obtaining the same entry clearance (Tier 1 Entrepreneur from outside UK), they can share their experience or ask questions here.

Hi invador108, dont confuse your self it is £1800(out side UK), its is clearly mentioned in the policy guidance, the other numerators are for people inside the UK for the period of more then a 12months.

You will need £3100+£1800+£1800+£1800= £8500 in account for a period of 90 consecutive days. (not a day less not a penny less)

Best of luck

Well you dont exactly need a consultant for that, you ask the questions and this forum will help you built a case best for you just need to explain your circumstances accordingly.

1) £200k investments funds (Bank Letter)
2) £3100 maintenance funds (Bank Letter + Statement)
3) English Language Test (Certificates)
4) Passport (At least 6 months Validity )
5) Pictures (Recent)
6) Declaration's if you have a Third party funding's. (Third party + Legal Rep)

Best of Luck

Since £ rate changing now a days, what is the exact multiple someone has to use for 90 days maintainance?

I am asking for someone who has to apply from Pakistan.

I mean it will

be 3100*150=465000
or 3100*155=480500
or 3100*160=496000

or what???

so what should be the MINIMUM level of funds in PKR from last 3 months?

Thanks

The answer to the above would be put 5 lack PKR in the account and forget it for 90days.

but the Best way is that you buy £3100 in open market and open a pound sterling account and be rest assured that there will be no fluctuations.

Thats good solution but someone already maintained PKR-1100000/- in total and is maintained since last month. I was just wondering if previous month possibly maintained or they are still at zero stage?
Main applicant along with two dependents. Im calculating as [£(3100+1800+1800)*160].
Not sure if the requirement is fulfilled or not.......
