PPT and visa..pls advise

Post by SAMISPOUSAL » Sat Dec 22, 2012 10:02 am

happy new year to all (Jan 20130)

I am a British man planning to go to India in 4 moths time (April 2013) and get married there.

Because she will need a lot of TIME and coaching to pass her English test (and she has not even started yet...) shall we do the passport AFTER WE get married as there is every chance that we will be able to get the passport before her Eng test.

OR WOULD YOU ADVISE her TO GET THE PPT done now so at least thats one task out of the way?

has anyone done this spousal english test ? how long did it take you?
do you know anyone who has taken a long time to pass the test ?
British man sponsoring Indian wife.Application Pune --Mumbai 18 DEC 2013 Requested further info 27 01 2014

Best to get passport made after wedding so your wifes surname will be same as yours

That will depend on how long it will take your wife to grasp the English language, anything from 3-6 months is average
