Can I apply from inside UK or outside UK

I am on Tier4 dependent visa. Can I apply for Tier1 (entrepreneur) visa? If yes can I apply from UK or outside UK? And Do I have to show 50K or 200K.

Hi

You can not switch into tier 1. You have to leave UK and apply for Entry Clearance from home country with investment funds of £200K.
