Is is possible to sponsor my husband if I work full time for an agency and earn £600 per week?I am currently earning £30 000 per anum as I have a permanent position. However, I expect that my husband's spouse visa will be refused once again if we apply for the third time.
We have been apart since May 2010, got married in August 2010.We applied for tier 2 dependency visa twice in 2011.My husband lived illegally in UK, but left voluntarily in May 2010.The first application was refused because of 12 month ban, and because my husband lived illegally, and we didn't show enough evidence that our marriage is subsisting. We applied after 12 month ban was lifted in June 2011, but it was refused because I didnt visit him, and because of his previous immigration history. We also have a baby, now almost 2 years old.I got my ILR since OCT 2012.
So far we have been together twice, we have more than enough evidence to proof our marriage is subsisting, but we both think we are just fighting a losing battle at the moment and it is best we live together for 1 year.I will have the option of coming back to UK, work for an agency for 6 months and apply for my husband's spouse visa.We think we will have a better chance then, having lived together for a year, and my husband gaining skills and work experience, because at the moment he has none.
Now I just want to know, if I do decide to come back, can I sponsor my husband if I work full time for an agency?I worked for an agency before and then I earned about £600 per week, doing long term supply work.
Or do I have to have a permanent job to be able to sponsor my husband?I expect that rules will change during next year. They will only get tougher and on the one hand I wish to apply for my husband now, since we meet all the requirements at the moment. On the other hand, my husband's previous refusals and immigration history, his lack of skills and work experience, and the fact that he is from Albania, well, I can just imagine what the refusal statement will say...
any thoughts anyone? It will be appreciated.Thank you.
