refusal of visa

Post by fallen_angel » Thu Dec 27, 2012 5:15 pm

Applied for an extension 2 months due to a bereavement and without an ESOL certificate. I know silly but at the time there was no time to do a ESOL. My main priority at the time was to extend the visa.

Turns out they have refused the extension on these two counts. With no rights to appeal.

We have recently had a beautiful baby girl which added tho other mix complicates things a wee bit.

Refusal letter arrived Xmas eve..... How nice of the UKBA to get it to us the day before Xmas. Thank you UKBA , you made our day.

Any ideas of what our options are?

What extension did you do that required an ESOL certificate? It's not a requirement for Tier 1 (General)?

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I simply applied for an extension to an existing spouse visa for the misses that was only for 2 years. I think the extension was for a further two years too. ESOL must be a requirement I guess since it was refused on that point too and I guess te UKBA know their stuff when it comes to this.

The spouse visa came to an end so I engender it. But was too late.
