income requirement

Post by SAMISPOUSAL » Mon Dec 31, 2012 1:15 pm

in order to sponsor a spouse there has to be a regular stable income of 18 600 .....or savings (of x 2.5) in excess of 16 000....

if the sponsor uses the savings route how long does must those savings be in there BEFORE THE DATE OF APPLICATION?

if the income is rental from property how many years of proof BEFORE THE DATE OF APPLICATION ....and what if the CURRENT RENT is a BIT MORE than last year..which figures are used ?

please advise and comment

the response rates, replies, are VERY low on this discussion forum...disappointing... so pls reply

Maybe if you listen to the advice that you have been given on numerous occasions and that is to keep your posts all in one post, so we know your full circumstances, then may be people can respond a bit quicker than at the present moment

As for your inquiry, I suggest you provide at least two years evidence of any income you get from rental property. Proof of this would be signed tenancy agreements showing rent to be paid. Just remember if you are renting property you should be paying tax on it and and UKBA do check with HMRC. If this is the case in your circumstances, then that is good evidence.........if it is not then you may be facing HMRC !!!!1

Savings must be held in your bank account of a minimum of 6 months.
