I had sent e-mail (Citizenship Info <citizenshipinfo@justice.ie>) this morning asking if I will be invited for the 11th March ceremony and got reply :

"Hi

Yes, we have received your documents. I would expect that you will be
invited to the Citizenship Ceremony on 11th March next. Invitations are
due to issue shortly.

Kind regards

XYZ
Citizenship Division."

They are answering the e-mails.
Many thanks

Hi All

Have been a reader of this forum for long but never replied to any post. However, just for the knowledge of everyone, I got my approval letter today and have been invited for 11th March ceremony.

I applied in November 2011 based on 5 years working. I got my first acknowledgment in January 2012 and the second one in August 2012.

Hope everyone receives their letter asap.

Regards,
Archna

Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minster for decision as expeditiously as possible.

It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay.

As well as being a significant event in the life of the recipient, the
granting of Irish citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law
is also a major step for the State which confers certain rights and
entitlements not only within the State but also at European Union level and
it is important that appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the
integrity of the process.

Regards

XXXX

I just sent them an email to esquire the status of my application, this is the response they gave me. Pls can you analyse what this means

Dear Iloveireland,

You have to send back one paper after ticking the appropriate columns. No need your signature. The other paper is required for your oath ceremony.

It seems all who got approval or invited for this ceremony are 2010/2011 applicants. is there anyone going to this ceremony who applied in 2012 (jan/feb/march/april......)

I applied in May 2012 and all i have been told is that my application is in 'advanced stage of processing'.

congrats to all who made it this time. :)

Hi desibuddy,

I got the same reply as yours about a month ago. you probably will get it for march or the following ceremony. As it is the last stage of the process.

Good luck with it :)

Every time I email them they send me the standard auto reply waiting to see if I meet the statuary rights. Really hoping for March or the next though.

i emailed them yesterday to see if i'm going to be invited in march cermony and they replied me with this

Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation and will be submitted to the Minister for decision as
expeditiously as possible. You will be notified of his decision as soon as
possible.

Places have already been allocated for the March ceremony to applicants
already approved

by the way i applied in july 2011 and till now didn't go to the minister

What stage is my application at when they send you this reply? Does it mean they're waiting for Garda report or something :S

We are processing it to establish if it satisfies the statutory
requirements for the granting of naturalisation such as good character &
lawful residence

I agree life is miserable in Ireland as compared to many countries etc ...etc

But we must understand & accept Ireland never asked any immigrant to come to their country we came here with our wish & will to suffer for our sins !

I & my wife lost valuable year of our life in this wait for citizenship but finally there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Not waiting any more
