Seems like they are working relatively fast to send out invitation ceremonies as the ceremony date is near.adlexy wrote:IntegratedMigrant,
Letters posted on Fridays are delivered on Mondays; that is normal. And in some exceptional circumstances in the previous ceremonies, a couple of people reported on this forum that their letters were delivered on a Saturday.

This is the reply I got this today.
"The March ceremony is fully subscribed with people that have already
received approval from the Minister. We have no dates confirmed yet for the
other ceremonies in 2013".

It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay.
As well as being a significant event in the life of the recipient, the
granting of Irish citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law
is also a major step for the State which confers certain rights and

INIS work Monday to Friday, normal office hours. Their telephone lines are only open to the public for two hours on Tuesday and Thursday.IntegratedMigrant wrote:Seems like they are working relatively fast to send out invitation ceremonies as the ceremony date is near.adlexy wrote:IntegratedMigrant,

INIS work Tuesdays and Thursdays, so them working on Friday is very exceptional.
I got same type of letter. Invitation and no need to send back any confirmation. For me it is so, because I had already got my approval back in November 2012 and had sent the 950 euro, GNIB and photos in November.iloveireland wrote:Hi
I have received my invitation today. I had receive approval in the beginning of the Jan.
The invitation letter is confirmation of attendance to the ceremony so I do not need to send anything back to INIS to confirm my attendance etc.
Has anyone received the same sort of letter?
Thanks
I applied in Oct 2012, does it sound funny. The acknowledgement letter sent to me reads that your application has successively moved on to the second stage. I don't just understandLove211 wrote:Love211 wrote:akabor wrote:Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
