I have a question: My wife has dual citizenship and holds a Tier 2 visa linked to my Tier 2 general migrant visa. When we started the application about a year later after I had arrived to the UK she was living in the Netherlands under one of the nationalities (let's call it nationality #1) for scholarship purposes and therefore had to apply to the tier 2 visa in NL with that nationality.
However, we're in a bit on a conundrum. The country of her second nationality (much preferred to the first one) has told her that dual citizenship is no longer allowed and that she'll have to drop one of her passports or be stripped of nationality number 2 by force.
With that in mind we would be very interested to know if there is any way of transferring the tier 2 visa from one passport to another. That way she could ditch her first passport without worries.
BTW, my Tier 2 visa is due for renewal in October and my employer will most certainly sponsor me for another period so I don't know if it would be better to wait till then.
Thanks.
