Visa Fee not Debited - Biometric done

Post by usman81 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 2:24 pm

I applied for Tier1 extension with 2 dependents in october12, since then we have had our biometrics done and acknowledgement letter also received, but surprisingly they have not debited the fee yet! Has anyone else experienced same?

Checked with bank, no attempt made yet

thanks

well....well....well..

The first thing UKBA do is take money and then they process the file. So here it is straight forward case that CW has forgotten to charge monies or the monies have been deducted and you checking wrong account. (which I ruled out as you know better this)

Only one thing you can do...

1. Call UKBA and inform about this ASAP

Let us know as well what happens next?

Good Luck

one of my friends, although he applied for ILR, went through same when his account was debited few days before he received visa.

Knowing i have given my consent to deduct the fee, Am i still obliged to inform UKBA that they have not deducted the fee yet?

Then you should wait for the decision based on your friend’s application. But I would strongly suggest calling them, as UKBA is UKBA, you can take then for granted.
Because I do not want the application returns for silly reasons.

Mayurc has already told you the proper thing to do in the earlier responses.

Why are you still asking for more suggestions?

Kind Regards

I honestly felt like being prosecuted!!!!!

I asked for suggestions on an unseen situation and thanks to Mayurc for comments. Did i violate rules asking senior members for suggestions?????

You could have just thrown in your point of view rather asking my intent!!!

How can you feel like being prosecuted just because I asked you a simple question? :o

The solution is very simple and just like Mayurc has said, you should contact UKBA and find out why the money has not been deducted since you have already given biometrics.

My earlier question to you was because you are still asking for suggestions when the only logical and correct thing to do is to contact them and understand what has happened.

Kind Regards
