Family Visitor query

Hi All

My Tier 2 visa is expiring in April however i need to invite my family members due to personal reasons in May. Visa extension process may spill into May month through postal application process. How do i send them invite letter and get them family visa in this case when my own extension process may not have completed? I am trying to get premium appointment but not getting any luck with it.

Your short-dated leave will not matter. They will be applying for a general visit visa (you are not settled so don't qualify as family visit).

Thanks a lot. Does it mean that my family members do not need to show my immigration document while submitting their application? Only invite letter and finance documents should be suffice.
