Set (O) Queries

Post by MP1982 » Wed Jan 09, 2013 11:47 am

Hi,

Thank you for taking time to read my queries,

Filling the SET (o) form and got few queries:

Query 1
How long have you lived in UK?

Is this calculated from the very first EC stamp date or very first entry to UK.

BackGround
• HSMP EC stamp: 18 Feb 2008 Entered UK: 14th March 2008
• Tier 1 G: 18 Feb 2010 to 18 Feb 2013
• Applying PEO on 28th Jan (28 days before EC expiry).
So do I answer that questions as per the EC stamp date(4 years 11 months) since I arrive within 90 days or do I calculate from first entry to UK to PEO appointment date (which would be 4 years and 10 months),

Query 2
Booked and PEO and when I got the confirmation and under appointment check list it says;
Appointment checklist
• Print and sign the official form and bring it to your appointment. To do this, click Next below.

There is no Next to click. Do they mean the actual Set(O) by this. I have aready received the email confirmation regarding the appointment.

Appreciate feedback,
Rgds,MP

1. How could you have lived in UK before arriving here ?

2. Just the Set O form (filled, signed) and all supporting/required documents.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

Hi,

Thank you for the response,

I am not sure what you mean exactly.I dint mean to say I am living in UK before arriving here,

EC stamp date: 18 Feb 2008 Arrived in UK:14 March 2008

Tier 1 G: Feb 13 2010 - Feb 13 2013

So started living from 14th March 2008

PEO Appt: 28th Jan 2013

So I would like to know whether to answer the question on 'How long you lived in UK' on set (O) based on the EC stamp date since I was trying to apply the same principal they work on to calulate the 5 yrs continous stay (up to a maximum of 3 months considered to EC stamp and actual phyical entry to UK)

So what I get from your response is I should Put the number of years lived from the date arrived in UK (14th March 2008) which is the actual date I started living here physically.

Then it will be 4 years 10months and 15 days to up to PEO date. Will this be an issue?

Appreciate your feedback and apologise if I have confused you,

MP
