Sponsor claiming benefits-hindrance to partners application?

Hi

My sister (British citizen) gets some benefits (sorry at the moment not sure which specific ones) and is planning to bring her husband to the UK from Pakistan.

Would the visa case for the husband have any risk because she is claiming benefits (as the sponsor)?

Also which specific benefits/funds that the sponsor receives will go against the applicants' visa case?

You'll need to find out exactly what benefits she's claiming. Does she claim disability benefits for example? Does she have any income from employment?
