Yes it is okie.
Can I apply MN1 for my child and link it to my ILR application? as my child is eligible under section 1(3) described in MN1 guide.
Unfortunately you cannot.
Thanks,

Hi Vinny,
Thanks for reply. Please help removing confusion about few more things I'm bit uncertain.
I applied for my ILR in August 2012 and awating decision. My child is born in Oct 2012. My wife's visa (PBS dependent) is ending this month and she is submitting FLR(M) and linking it with my ILR application.
Is it ok not to include child in section 4 of FLR(M)?
But to add child in section 7.12 of FLR(M) ?
Also not to attach child birth certificate with FLR(M) ?
Thanks,
Aksi

I applied for my daughter's naturalisation vis NCS today. The date on my BRP card was one day after the date on my ILR approval letter.
I was advised on the forum that for "date when parents become settled" section write the date on the approval letter and not on the BRP card.
However the NCS worker made me correct the date on the form to the one on the BRP card.
This is to inform prospective applicants of my experience in this regard.

BTW, It is not necessary to secure any separate dependent visa for the child if born in UK IF you do not plan on travelling with the child outside of UK with the intention of returning back to UK.

For avoidance of doubt, I will ask directly...
My daughter's visa expires in about a week's time. She was born in the UK in 2005. In 2011 I successfully applied for ILR. Do I need to submit my daughter's MN1 application before her current visa expires???

Is your partner settled as well? If yes, then NO you do not need to worry about the expiry of her visa.
Do remember though if you are planning to travel after her visa expires and before you get her registered as a British Citizenship, you might be in trouble with immigration when you come back into the UK.

Hi M2008,
My timelines are exactly the same as yours, fees has not been debited, nor have I got any acknowledgement.
I guess everything is being slow due to inclement weather conditions.

Thats funny, the NCS I applied from actually gave me a tracking number on the receipt, and the package reached at 9 am the next day (my appointment was at 2pm).
Its strange that each NCS has their own service protocols, a bit like the PEOs for in-person ILR application.
Good luck mate.

Also My daughter was born last year April we only had her passport done(Indian) as we didn't s travel outside the country, we didn't got her visa stamped, Do i still need to submit her passport(Indian) along with UK Birth certificate
I want to know about the following :

UK Border Agency reference number. (( what number is it Biometric number or the letter which was granted by home office))
Surname/Family Name (NB. The name you give here will be the name shown on the child’s certificate so please
ensure it is spelt correctly and you have written it in the correct order): O ((IS IT ONLY SURNAME ))
Other names (If different from the name shown on the child’s passport/birth certificate, please explain why on
page 13 of the form) : IS IT GIVEN NAME
2.1 If the child is resident in the United Kingdom or a British overseas territory (see page 8 of the guide), please give
date and place of first arrival.
D D M M Y Y Y Y
Date Place CAN I MENTION AS BORN IN UK AND DOB AND PLACE. IN THIS SECTION
3.1 Please say which parent is the one who is a British citizen by descent and on whom this application is based.
Mother Father CAN I MENTION AS ((APPLYING UNDER SECTION 1(3))
Do i need to submit my Biometric or passport or my partner's Brp or passport(originals) with application.
