Hello, when I use the Tier 2 online application, I have to enter my current Biometric card number (Tier 1 Post Study Work visa). However, the online application has validation which objects because the third character is not a digit/number.
For example, my card number is in this format: RBX123456. That's the front of the card.
However, the UKBA documents online suggest that 2 letters followed by 7 numbers is the format. I have also seen this described as RBXXXXXXX, where the x's mean numbers.
So when I have a card number starting with RBX and then continuing with numbers, I think the X really means absense of a number. If I replace the X with a 0, it passes the web validation.
Btw, although there are only 6 numbers in my 9 character code, if I look at the computer read details in the back, there is a seventh digit.
Has anyone else experienced the validation issue?
Thank you
