Post by gopiggk » Mon Jan 14, 2013 8:56 am

I have visited Ireland twice from northern ireland by Road. There are no stamps endrored in my passport. I will be applying for ILR next month. How can I prove my entry and return to the caseworker?

Unless this absense was for a long period of, it does not matter. Clleary you are back in the UK as that is where your are making the application. You don't have to provide physical proof of absense; you merely have to mention it and justify it in some specific cases.

You don't need to prove it. It happened and you can mention it, but you don't have to provide evidence. Why do think you need to?

Just that if they ask "How do you prove that you have not lived more than the allowed limit in Ireland?" Caseworked usually check the exit and entry dates from stamps endorsed in the passport. But not sure how could he manage in this case.
