Whether or not you have an application in with UKBA, you should always send copies?
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.

Thanks Mulderpf,

Apart from copies of passport and visa, what else do they need to support them, as they showing their own financial statement(India) for their expenses here in UK including their air ticket.

My visa is finishing on 16/02/2013 and applied for ILR through long residency, and moreover can i send the copy of acknowledgement letter to my parents for reference that UKBA is having my originals for ILR application ?

I presume they are applying as general visitors, as you are not yet settled in the UK (ILR pending). See the section for "General Visitors" under the following pdf to understand what would be required both by the applicant and a sponsor (i.e. if you are sponsoring them in any capacity). http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... sitors.pdf

Yes, they are applying as general visitors as i am not settled. Now my wife visa is finishing on feb 16th 2013, i am sending her FLRm application along with my 3 months bank statement, so i cannot supply bank statement for my parents, but any way they will show their bank statement.

Now i am planning to send only a covering letter stating that i will to call my parents to look after my wife and newborn baby for 1 or 2 months and my copies of passport and visas.

As iam living in 1 bed flat i cannot show the tenancy agreement which will come into query that how my parents will stay, so i can going to supply only the address in the covering letter that they will stay at my address and the expenses will be bear by them.

IS all these OK ?
