ILR latest Paylip-pls clarify

Post by hanke2012 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 7:04 am

Hi All,

I worked in UK continous for 5 years and 2 months upto Dec-31.Then i had to return to India due to Indian employer Relocation.I was thinking to apply for ILR in Mar-13.As things have changed suddenly totally confused. My last payslip is dec-12 one.I am now in India.I can comeback to India to apply in person. Now i have to take up Life in the UK test as well. When i look at ILR form it says the payslip should be dated no more than a month from date of Application.Does that i have to apply before 25-Jan,otherwise can not apply? Also do we need to get employer certify the Absense days from UK for last 5 years?

Could you please help to clarify on this? Trying to check before taking all steps.

Thanks
Kumar

All depends on what route you will qualify under, or what is your current visa type.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

I believe for T1, you need to meet the point requirements by using a max of 12 payslips from the past 15 month period. So not necessary to have the most recent payslip included.

Also, the most recent payslip clause applies to WP, T2 applicants.

Sorry, got another question,Also do we need to get employer certify the Absense days from UK for last 5 years? Or i can just explain in a paper.they are mostly 15-30 days max each year.avg.20 days per year.

Thanks again
Kumar

I believe T1 is self-certification - unless you want to add your employer's letter as further evidence that it was work related.

No employer letter is required to confirm absences for T1G applicants. If however your 5 years is made up of LTR with a period of time on an employer sponsored visa such as a WP or T2 visa, then you should IMO take a employer letter to confirm those absences in the event you are asked to produce one.

Thanks to both of you.I was on Work permit until 2009-Apr.(from Nov-2007 to Apr-2009) followed by T1G valid until Jun-2014.I also just found that this information is available on my passport though Immigration stamps (Arrival and departure)

That's the thing with this sort of questions, you never know what your caseworker will ask for.
