To prove residency as part of Naturalisation Application

Post by npeshkar » Tue Jan 22, 2013 9:16 am

Hi,

When i obtained my ILR, I had to provide a significant amount of paperwork to prove that I had been resident in UK for 5 years and also co-habitation proof for my spouse.

I have an NCS appointment for submitting naturalisation paperwork tomorrow and having filled in the application form, I do not understand what documents I need to prove residency now - do i need to prove residency for 6 years as I already have ILR on y passport? Any help or advice would be of great assistance,

Thanks. NP

Check Section 3 on the last page of the application form.

Normally a passport which covers the residence period is enough.
