A1 Test / Naric Letter required for Spouse ?

Hello All,

Could you please kindly confirm whether any one who is applying as
a spouse visa using FLR (M) or Tier 1 PBS dependant or SET (0) form
needs to write the 'Language requirement test' along with the 'Life
in UK' test ?

If a spouse has got her Bachelors degree mentioned in the Points
calculator which confirms that the UKBA recognises that the degree
is valid, then is it mandatory to write A1 test to meet the
language requirement clause ?
