Saint John, NB?

Hi All,

After much research we have decided as a family that the smalltown of Saint John would really suit our ideals of how we would like to live. All the information online that I can find of SJ seems really positive, very pretty, very friendly, a good balance of town/rural areas and enough of my husbands trade to keep him busy (HGV Mechanic).

Does anyone have any direct experience of the area? Obviously what one can find on the net could very well be a 'tourist friendly' interpretation of the reality of living there?
