Can I get ILR as dependent 5 years + main applicant 5 years

Can I get ILR as dependent 5 years + main applicant 5 years

Hi
I have been in this country for five years as student and recently I made myself dependent of my wife and would like to continue another 5 years in this category to complete 10 years to apply ILR. Is there any one could assure me is it possible or not to eligible for ILR application.
